Take your printing to the next level
The Platen and Screen Level gauges are designed as professional diagnostic tools for increasing quality control in screen printing. The PLG levels the platens side-to-side, front-to-back, and height, while the SLG levels the screen frames to the platen. Why would you need this ‘device’ in your quality control toolbox?
THE PROBLEMS
- Unlevel Platens cause misregistration of print
- Uneven ink deposits, left to right & front to back
- Inaccurate color consistency
INEFFECTIVE METHODS
- Spacers: These are Abmbigous measurement tools vs. relying on a diagnostic device.
- Dial Indicators: These measure one pinpoint area only.
- Worst Case: No measurement of the levelness of platens is being used.
ONE DIAGNOSTIC SOLUTION
- The PLG easily detects bent platens for replacement.
- The PLG decreases downtime and misprints.
- The PLG allows level platens, which will improve Quality and Productivity. Faster setup, maximum production speeds, and high-quality prints.
- The PLG will save you money by making it yourself.
- Implement RPM Platen Level Procedures (PLP) daily, weekly, monthy to maintain consistent levels resulting in quality prints and faster machine speeds.
- The ROI will be recognized within a few months of use, and thereafter, you will profit from the use of this tool!
See it in Action!

Go-No-Go Gauge
Before attaching the PLG, the Go-No-Go Gauge determines the proper “drop-down” distance, avoiding damage to the PLG should the platen be set too high. It attaches quickly and easily to the squeegee bar.
Height Adjustment Gauge
The Height Gauge is used to adjust the distance from the screen frame to the platen.
Screen Level Gauge (SLG)
The screen frame leveler attaches to the PLG and allows it to sit on the screen holders. It is used to determine the level of the screen frame to the platen.
